Drop Maker M1
The Drop Maker is an integrated optical, mechanical and electrical device with a proprietary microfluidic chip that can rapidly produce nanolitre (<1nl) water-in-oil droplets from aqueous phase samples.
The Drop Maker adopts an integrated design of optics, mechanics and electronics.
The water phase containing the sample template can be quickly prepared into 0.5 nanoliter-sized droplets in a proprietary microfluidic droplet-generation chip.
The number of droplets is related to the sample volume, and this platform is able to prepare approximately 40,000-100,000 droplets from a 20-50μL sample within only 5 mimutes.
The droplet size is uniform and stable throughout the PCR amplification process.
